From December through March, bowfishing activity decreases as fish migrate to deeper waters. During this period, targeting large blue catfish becomes a primary focus, and crappie fishing remains a consistent alternative.
sPRING (mARCH - may)
The waters are gradually heating, prompting the fish to move and start spawning. The fishing possibilities are boundless. Anglers can aim for Large Mouth Bass, Northern Snakehead, or Rockfish. Additionally, we offer charters on the Rappahannock River during the shad run at this time of year, which provides non-stop action and the opportunity to catch a colossal Spawning Rockfish like seen above.
summer (june-Aug)
The water temperature is high, and the hydrilla is blooming profusely. It's prime time for Northern Snakehead and largemouth bass fishing, with the surface action being particularly intense. Catfish and white perch are also biting aggressively. With bowfishing becoming increasingly popular, now is an excellent time for a combination trip.
fall (sept-nov)
The bite for Northern Snakehead and largemouth has slowed down, while the activity for rockfish, catfish, and white perch has picked up. It's the perfect time to go fishing with light tackle.

Additionally, fish cleaning services are available at the end of the day. The pricing is as follows: $400.00 for two individuals, with an additional charge of $50.00 for each extra person, up to a maximum of four people.
